Strip, you would assume, like many others that this sort of

hotel room at one of the themed Las Vegas Strip hotels. The
hotels on the Strip compete with each other to offer special
deals. The Excalibur, for instance, offers to beat any other
advertised price, and will refund the difference if any
other hotel gives a better rate.
Another way to get the best and affordable accommodation is
to go during the week. You are likely to get great deals if
you choose to stay in Las Vegas from Sunday to Thursday
instead of going there for the weekend. Besides offering
lower nightly room rates these hotels provide further
discounts for shows with your booking during the week.
However, make sure you book your stay in the hotels that are
considered family friendly. You may be tempted by the
Bellagio and the Venetian, but you must know that they cost
a fortune. Hotels like the Mirage, Excalibur, and Circus
provide a family setting. They are affordable, and you can
still go and enjoy the flower garden at the Bellagio or take
a ride on a gondola at the Venetian.
Go with friends. Plan your trip at the same time as a group
of friends. You do not actually have to do anything
together if you are looking for a romantic getaway, but you
can get a multiple room rate if you coordinate your stay
with two or three other couples. Book the rooms all at
once, on the Internet, for a couple of weeknights, and see
how much you can save!
Above all, watch out for conventions, which are a regular
feature in Las Vegas. No matter when you go you are sure to
find some convention or the other going on in Las Vegas.
Since space is at a premium during conventions, hotels
charge exorbitant rates. Just make sure that the hotel you
stay at is not hosting a convention at the time of your
visit. Thus, it important to check the hotels? convention
schedule at the time of booking. If possible, choose a hotel
without a convention, and try to plan your stay at a
particular hotel when there is no convention.
Finding good accommodations in Las Vegas on the Strip is
not difficult if you use some common sense and search out
the best price. By carefully selecting your hotel, and when
you go, you can save a great deal of money and have a
great time in Las Vegas.
