Vacationing in the Caribbean is simply lovely and
a trip that everyone should experience at least
once. Irrespective of whether you are planning a
romantic getaway or looking for a family vacation
during school holidays, the Caribbean offers
something for everybody.

When you start to plan your Caribbean cruise, the
first thing you need to think about is where you
would like to go. There are different islands and
each one has slightly different things for you to
do. So you should find out what each island has to
offer and try to pick the one that best suits your
vacation needs.

Many people put off their dream Caribbean cruise
because they think they will not be able to afford
it. But you may be surprised to know that you can
get a Caribbean cruise for either a few hundred
dollars as well as a few thousand dollars. The
best place to start looking and planning is on the
Internet. If you use the net to your advantage,
you can plan a cruise to fit your budget.

You might choose an Eastern Caribbean cruise. This
is a great option for people who have been on
cruises before. If you are looking for a great
trip where you can relax and enjoy all the great
benefits of a cruise, then the Caribbean is for
you. Most of your cruise time will be on the ship
and not stopping at ports so it is a great option
for you if you just want to relax. The Eastern
Caribbean is great for families or for people who
have never been on a cruise before.

While on the Eastern Caribbean islands, there are
so many great things for you to do. There is
literally fun for the entire family. You can enjoy
soaking up the rays on the beach or visiting the
many shops and souvenir stores. You can buy
jewelry, electronics, cameras, items native to the
island and much more. You and your family can go
snorkeling, skiing, sailing and much more. There
is so much fun you will never run out of great
things to do.

There is no doubt that the world's most popular
cruising destination is the Caribbean and one of
the most in demand tours includes the Bahamas and
the eastern islands between the Caribbean Sea and
the Atlantic Ocean. During an Eastern Caribbean
Cruise you will probably visit three or four of
the following islands: Nassau, St. Thomas USVI,
St. John USVI, St. Maarten, San Juan, Puerto Rico,
Tortola BVI and Virgin Gorda. You will also want
to take in a day trip to one of the private
islands owned by the Cruise Lines. These are for
the exclusive use of their guests for the day.

You can get Eastern Caribbean cruises year round
for seven night trips. If you want a longer trip
of 10-12 days or more, you can find these best
during the winter months.
